KANGXI SILVER-MOUNTED BLUE & WHITE SMALL BOTTLE VASE
The Porcelain, c1700, The Mounts Untraced Continental

Having an elongated neck over a flattened bulbous body,
the body painted in soft blues with large mushrooms or flowerheads
beside a large blue hollow rock, amongst other floral sprays and sprigs with berries,
the sides and back with peony flowerheads and scrolling leaves;
the neck with a single horizontal whorled band surmounted by a
scalloped and threaded silver mount with domed cover;
all over a short foot; the verso with an artemesia leaf mark;
the marks Continental, untraced as yet

Condition : Excellent; a single short firing flaw to one side of the body
